My Story

Growing up in Brooklyn during the 60s and 70s, joining the US Navy, and eventually finishing college, was a good start toward preparing me for the challenges of doing business within the New York construction arena! Every project is unique, the designs are constantly changing and price and lead time are never low enough or quick enough.

At this point in my career, I have 25+ years of experience working with architects, designers, general contractors, developers, and manufacturers fabricating and installing various interior products in some of the most prestigious hotels, condos, and office spaces in Manhattan.

I started as a salesman and learned through hands-on experience how to read drawings, manage projects, purchase products, value-engineer designs, and install the finished product for my clients.

 

After 5 years, I became a partner in a furniture/millwork shop and a year after that opened a showroom in Manhattan. The showroom was designed around the concept of a one-source provider of finished interior products for 4 and 5 star and boutique hotels, as well as high-end condominiums. Additionally, the showroom hosted products from around the world, which appealed to clients looking for lower prices, while not forfeiting quality.

Currently, I represent several of the top manufacturers/installers based in the New York City area and I have been doing so for over 12 years. Every day is different, every challenge unique, but I love what I do!
